California Mid-State Fair names Pete Clark of Paso Robles the 2020 Country Rodeo Honoree

The California Mid-State Fair Board of Directors has named Pete Clark of Paso Robles the 2020 Country Rodeo Honoree.

Clark is currently a charter member of the California Mid-State Fair Heritage Foundation and formerly served on the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce, according to a press release from the California Mid-State Fair.

The press release also says Clark is a fourth-generation member of the Rancheros Vistadores and a co-founder of the San Luis Obispo County Meadow Muffin Golf Classic, an "annual charity golf tournament benefiting the Children's Christmas Toy Bank."

Clark also served on the Board of Directors of the California Mid-State Fair for eight years and was named the Cattleman of the Year in 2009. In 2012, he was inducted into the California Mid-State Fair Hall of Fame, according to the press release.

The 75th annual California Mid-State Fairis scheduled for July 22 to Aug. 2 at the Paso Robles Event Center. The Wrangler Country Rodeo is scheduled to take place during the event's finals on Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. Tickets will be available later this year, the press release said.
