Cal Poly added chairs, tables and umbrellas to its Engineering Plaza to provide an outdoor study space for students.
The addition of this study area is part of the university's efforts to make the campus safer for students, staff and faculty members during the coronavirus pandemic.
Cal Poly is also providing ongoing COVID-19 testing to on-campus students and students who have in-person classes, work, research or other obligations on campus.
