Get your family ready for some Central Coast fun because Boomers is back open.

Boomers on Preisker Lane in Santa Maria is reopening this weekend after Governor Gavin Newsom lifted the state's stay-at-home order.

Staff members are making changes to the attractions to try to slow the spread of Covid-19.

Indoor operations remain closed and outdoor activities are capped at 250 people.

Here's a list of outdoor attractions that are open:

  • Mini-Golf
  • Thunder Road Go-karts
  • Rookie Go-karts
  • Spin-Zone Bumper Cars
  • Rockwall
  • Batting Cages
  • Outdoor Dining

Workers also check the temperature of every guest and provide face masks if they forget to bring one.

Nancy Parraguirre, manager of Boomers, said she's grateful for the staff and customers who waited patiently for the business to reopen.

"They're happy, it's been two months since I've been able to see them and since they were able to see each other so we greet each other say 'Hi, how've you been?' and catching up before we clock in. Everyone's happy and really excited to be back," Parraguire said.

The business closes at 11 p.m. Saturday and reopens Sunday at 10 a.m. through 8 p.m.

Starting February 5th, the amusement center will be open Fridays through Sundays.
