Atascadero city leaders this week approved a development of 30 micro homes.
The developer plans to build 800-square-foot one and two-story homes on a 1.7-acre site at 4711 El Camino Real.
The project also includes 70 on-site parking spots and a one-story community building.
City leaders say the developer is aiming to make the units "affordable by design," targeting the $250,000 to $350,000 price range.
