ORIGINAL STORY: Arrests have been made in connection with a deadly shooting in Lompoc earlier this week.

Lompoc police told KSBY News one adult and three juveniles were taken into custody Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of Francisco Garcia of Lompoc Monday night.

Police responded to the area near the 700 block of West Chestnut Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. and found the 30-year-old had been shot.

CPR was performed but Garcia did not survive.

While police say the shooting appears to be gang-related, investigators told KSBY News it doesn't appear Garcia knew the suspects.

More information is expected to be released by police soon.

This week's shooting was the third homicide in Lompoc this year.
