Amtrak train services from San Luis Obispo to Santa Barbara and vice versa have been suspended due to damage caused by recent storms.

Crews are working to repair train tracks on the Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner railways after a significant storm damaged tracks to the point of being "unpassable."

In a series of Tweets from Pacific Surfliner, the transportation service said "Due to unpassable tracks caused by winter storms, Train 774 which is due to depart San Luis Obispo (SLO) on 1/31 & 2/1 will originate in Santa Barbara (SBA)."

According to Amtrak, additional transportation to the departing train station will be provided to passengers.

Train services have been delayed or suspended since Thursday due to storm damage.
