Amtrak train service is restored north of Goleta, after being temporarily suspended due to damage to the tracks which was caused by last week's storm.

Union Pacific Railroad repaired the damage done to the tracks near Vandenberg Air Force Base.

Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner was not able to travel between Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo from Sunday, Jan. 31 to Monday, Feb. 1.

Amtrak instead offered other forms of transportation to passengers departing from the affected train stations.
