The Santa Maria Public Airport says this weekend's Central Coast AirFest was a success.
However, air show organizers will be considering making some changes for future shows.
The flyovers and pyrotechnics created a lot of noise, and the airport says it received several complaints.
"The feeling of patriotism and everything with our country, it was just an amazing event and that feeling here on the showgrounds was just amazing, so we have to counteract all of that with the complaints that came in and try to get a good balance because we definitely want to support the veterans, we definitely don't want to impact the community negatively but we want to have a great aviation event," said Chris Hastert, Santa Maria Public Airport General Manager.
Hastert says attendance was slightly down from last year's show.
