Three people were honored Tuesday for 30 years of work for the County of San Luis Obispo.
The resolutions recognizing Holly Morgan with the auditor-controller's office, David Loden, a facilities and maintenance worker and Sheriff's Commander Keith Scott were presented at the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors' meeting.
Scott said seeing everyone come out to the meeting in support of him was "pretty spectacular."
When asked about the highlight of his career, Scott told KSBY News: "I think in the latter years, being sergeant over the gang task force and now the commander for the detective division, I've developed a gang booklet for children and teachers and actually revamped how the gang task force was performing its duties as well as with the current detective division. We've made a lot of changes in things that are for the better and that will be lasting for the future."
He says he feels fortunate to have been involved in almost every detail at the sheriff's office over the last 30 years.
