The City of San Luis Obispo Fire Department is receiving a new addition to its lineup of fire engines Monday.
New SLOFD Engine 3 arrived from Pierce Manufacturing in a Wisconsin this morning. This new addition will replace a nearly 20 year old engine at afire Station #3 with state of the art electronics, increased pumping capacity and both increased fuel and emission efficiency! pic.twitter.com/J2NYeQi1fa

Engine 3 arrived at Fire Station #3 from Pierce Manufacturing in Wisconsin early Monday morning.
The new engine will replace one that has been a part of the SLO Fire Department fleet for more than 20 years. It features state of the art electronics, increased pumping capacity and both increased fuel and emission efficiency.
The City of San Luis Obispo Fire Department consisted of four stations.
