A man is in critical condition following a fight in Carpinteria, authorities say.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputies responded at about 1:20 a.m. Saturday to reports of a fight near 9th Street and Yucca Lane.
Once on scene, they say they found a male assault victim with “significant suspicious injuries.”
Citing the ongoing, active investigation, authorities are not releasing any other details at this time.
