Police are looking for a driver they say hit a bicyclist in Santa Barbara last month and took off.

It happened the night of June 13 when police say the bicyclist was heading south through the intersection of Castillo and Yananoli streets where they were struck by a teal or green BMW and thrown onto the hood of the car.

Police say the driver then took off.

Photos of the car and man police say is believed to have been driving were released by police Tuesday morning in an effort to identify him and further the investigation.
