12 people are without a place to stay Friday night after a person drove into a building in Isla Vista.
Santa Barbara County Fire Officials responded to reports of the crash at around 9:30 p.m. Friday on the 6700 block of Del Playa Road.
Fire officials say the car went through a fence and through the wall of the house. The crash caused both a water line and gas line to break.
First responders say one person suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Both the water and gas services have been turned off. The building is red-tagged, and the 12 people staying at the home can no longer stay there.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
