Water main break shuts down Cypress St. in SLO

UPDATE (9:20 a.m.) – City officials say the underground utiltiies have been marked and excavation is underway.


 

ORIGINAL STORY: A San Luis Obispo street was closed Tuesday morning due to a water main break.

The City’s utilities department says the break happened on the 2100 block of Cypress Street between Sandercock and Branch streets.

Eight customers were reportedly without water shortly before 8 a.m. The City said Cypress Street in the area was closed to incoming traffic.
