The Sips for Smiles fundraiser was hosted Sunday, aimed at helping get dental services to uninsured families.
Tolosa Children’s Dental Center hosted the event for donors at the Filliponi Ranch.
The 15 year operation has three different locations including: Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo and Virtual Dental Home at Shandon Elementary.
The Tolosa Children’s Dental Center is the only nonprofit pediatric dental center on the Central Coast that provides services for kids up to 18 years old, serving 6,000 kids last year alone.
“There is a huge need in San Luis Obispo County; the population of our children who need dental care is growing every day. We absolutely rely on our fundraisers and our grants and the community support to continue to do what we do at Tolosa Children’s Dental Center,” explained Alexandra Chamberlain of the Tolosa Children’s Dental Center.
The center is nominated as 2019 Nonprofit of the Year by Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham.
