A land surveyor suffered minor injuries Friday when he was hit by a passing vehicle on Main Street in Templeton.
The man said he was doing survey work near the intersection at 5th Street around 10 a.m. when a vehicle drove through the cones and hit him.
The worker rolled over the hood of the vehicle, falling off the car and injuring his leg.
The vehicle slowed briefly before driving away, the worker said.
He described the vehicle as a white two-door late 90s model Honda with a male driver.
The California Highway Patrol took a report and is investigating the incident.
It’s unclear if the hit-and-run driver has been located or apprehended.
