The City of Paso Robles is looking for four new graffiti removal volunteers.

The city has a “zero tolerance” graffiti removal program that began in 1992. The program aims to remove all graffiti within 48 hours of reporting, including graffiti found on private property with the property owner’s permission. That generally means painting over the graffiti.

Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check.

The city supplies the materials, truck and direction, and the time commitment can be as little as 2-4 hours once a week.

Volunteer applications should be submitted to the city’s human resources department by email or in person at 821 Pine St., Suite A in Paso Robles. For more information, contact Community Services Maintenance Superintendent Freda Berman at (805) 237-3873 or fberman@prcity.com.

If you spot graffiti in Paso Robles, contact the Parks Maintenance Division at (805) 237-3873 or fill out an online Action Request Form.
