Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham announced Thursday that Orcutt Burgers is Small Business of the Year for the 35th Assembly District.
The local burger chain employs more than 70 employees across its three locations and supports multiple organizations and schools on the Central Coast through fundraisers and donations.
“Each location is a hub of activity in the community it serves. I thank them for their commitment to our region,” said Cunningham.
Cunningham even said Orcutt Burgers makes the best cheeseburgers and breakfast burritos in the area.
Orcutt Burgers is a family-owned business run by the Zafiris family.
It has three locations in Orcutt, Grover Beach and Lompoc.
