Authorities are looking for the man responsible for robbing a bank in Solvang Thursday morning.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at about 11:40 a.m. at Rabobank on the 1500 block of Mission Drive.
Spokesperson Kelly Hoover says the man got away with an unknown amount of cash. No weapon was seen.
The robber is described as being in his 30s, about 5’8” with a thin build and green or blue eyes.
He was reportedly wearing a black long-sleeve shirt with pictures of aliens on the sleeve and a white Under Armour hat with a black logo.
Hoover says the man reportedly ran away northbound along Mission Drive. As a precaution, nearby Solvang Elementary was placed on a brief lockdown, which has since been lifted.
Deputies are searching the area along with K9s for the man. Anyone who thinks they see him is asked to call 911.
