SATURDAY, JUNE 1

Santa Maria Elks Rodeo Parade
8:45 a.m.
Broadway between Mill St. and Enos St., Santa Maria
More than 200 entries include marching bands, floats, clowns, equestrians, and other performers.

Grilled Cheese Festival
Noon-4 p.m.
Laguna Lake Park, 504 Madonna Rd., San Luis Obispo
Sample unlimited grilled cheese prepared by local restaurants, then vote for your favorite. Local beer and wine will also be available. This inaugural event benefits Restorative Partners.

SATURDAY – SUNDAY

The Classic at Pismo Beach Car Show
9 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday
9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday
Downtown Pismo Beach
Get an up-close look at dozens of classic and custom cars, pickups and other vehicles at this huge annual event. A variety of vendors will be open each day and on Saturday, a cruise will take place from 6-8 p.m. There will also be beer gardens, live music, and a charity auction.

San Luis Obispo Greek Festival
11 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday
11 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday
Alex Madonna Expo Center, 100 Madonna Rd., San Luis Obispo
Celebrate Greek heritage with authentic Greek cuisine, homemade pastries, live traditional music and dancing, shopping, and cultural exhibits. This family-friendly event is presented by the parishioners of St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church.

SUNDAY, JUNE 2

Pinot & Paella Festival
2-5 p.m.
Templeton Community Park, 420 Crocker St., Templeton
Taste the region’s best pinot noirs while enjoying paella dishes prepared by local chefs. Casey Biggs and the Paso Wine Man Jazz Band will be playing live music in the gazebo all afternoon.

Sizzlin’ Summer Concert Series
3-6 p.m.
Ramona Garden Park Center, 993 Ramona Ave., Grover Beach
Rock out to live music by the JD Project at the kickoff event for this annual summer concert series. Food, beer and wine will be available for purchase.
