Patriots, veterans and their families gathered to show support for the troops and honor fallen heroes at the Grover Beach Memorial Day Cruise on Sunday.
They all met at Fins parking lot and made their way through downtown Pismo on Highway 1.
The cruising patriots showed off their true American colors and made stops along the way to take photos and regroup.
After ending their journey at Port San Luis, they made their way back toward the beach all the way out to Pole 5 at the Oceano Dunes.
“Every time we get bigger and cruising our trucks and flying our flags high,” organizer Cody Hudgens said. “Everyone sees it. Everyone pretty much stops and gets out of their vehicle or honks their horn or video tapes it. Everyone just loves seeing it and it makes us happy when we see everyone showing their support.”
This was the fifth year of the cruise.
