The Atascadero Police Department last night found the vehicles stolen from the Atascadero Unified School District Transportation Center stolen Friday morning.
Police said in a press release Friday night that the department received a call from AUSD informing them that someone contacted the principal at San Gabriel Elementary school with information on the theft.
Police were able to recover the vehicle within three hours of publicizing the thefts.
Detectives are still investigating further details of the incident.
