Santa Barbara Zoo creates new California pale ale brew

The Santa Barbara Zoo is introducing its very own craft beer.

The zoo teamed up with Ventura Coast Brewing Company to create a special edition beer called the “Zoo Brew.” The zoo’s Instagram page posted about the beer’s launch party on Thursday. The fresh new brew is a California pale ale.

Don't miss our beer launch party this Thursday night at Ventura Coast Brewing Company! Stop by between 5-9 PM to try the brew AND support the Zoo. 10% of all beer sales will directly benefit the Santa Barbara Zoo! 10 percent of the beer’s sales will go directly toward funding the zoo.

Willing customers can buy the custom canned brew at the zoo starting this weekend.
