A popular gym is hoping to set up shop in Santa Maria.
Planet Fitness has submitted plans to move into the former Weatherby’s home furnishings building off of South Broadway.
This would be the third Planet Fitness location on the Central Coast. The company already has gyms in Paso Robles and Lompoc.
No word yet on when the Santa Maria gym will open.
