The public is invited to an open house this week at Vitalant in San Luis Obispo.
Vitalant was previously known as United Blood Services.
The open house will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 at the San Luis Obispo Donation Center located at 4119 Broad St. #100.
There will be pizza from Woodstock’s Pizza, ice cream from Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab, and tours of the lab facility. Five special blood donors will also be honored.
Those who’d like to donate during the open house will receive a $10 movie pass through Vitalant’s Hero Rewards Store.
