The second annual Central Coast Airfest is still a few months away but organizers are already starting to gear up for the high-flying weekend.

Airfest will be held at the Santa Maria Airport this year on October 12 and 13.

Organizers are planning for an even bigger turn out as they are working toward improving the entry process and parking plans.

This year, the new aerial displays will feature a U.S. Air Force Viper demo.

Plane aerobatics master Rob Holland will be in attendance to show off his skills, as well.

“The amount of professionalism, the aviation display… there’s just so much going on you want to be there, you know. That’s where the party is gonna be, you know. We have a couple other things we are working on that are gonna make it really exciting inside the show,” said Chris Kunkle, Central Coast Airfest Air Show Director.

Tickets for Airfest will go on sale in July. Pre-sale prices start at $20. If you buy them at the gate, the cost will increase to $30 to $35 per person.
