Guadalupe 5th graders learned about coastal ecosystems and explored California coastlines this semester. At the end of their program, the students learned about stormwater pollution prevention and created posters to create awareness on the subject.
According to the Dunes Center, the winning piece of artwork will be included with a flyer about pollution prevention that will be distributed to all Guadalupe residents with their June water bill.
All the finalists will be compiled into an exhibit at the Dunes Center this summer.
