Organizers of the Sensorio light display provided media with a sneak peek of the new light installation in Paso Robles.

Creator of “Sensorio”, Bruce Munro unveiled his 15-acre piece of art to the media Wednesday night.

The 15-acre light exhibit uses more than 58,000 stemmed spheres to illuminate the area in bursts of morphing color.

Munro says the artwork is inspired by the city of Paso Robles and hopes the community will come out and enjoy it.

“I would hope that this is an expression that people will embrace and enjoy,” said Munro. “Young or old, just come along and experience it. It’s a time for you to relax and be at one with not only your fellow human beings but also with nature.”

“Field of Light: Sensorio” is located across from Hunter Ranch Golf Course on Highway 46 East.

Tickets for adults range from $27 to $30. Tickets for children range from $9 to $19.

The exhibit opens Sunday, May 19 and is open through January or 2020.
