Travelers will have another chance to sign up for TSA Pre✓® at the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport.
A temporary TSA Pre✓® enrollment center will be located in front of the old airport terminal entrance between Monday, May 13 and Friday, May 17.
It will be open from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday.
Travelers enrolled in TSA Pre✓® can leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt when going through airport security. They can also leave laptops, electronics larger than a cell phone, and travel-size liquids in their carry-on luggage.
To apply, you must visit the enrollment center in person and bring a current U.S. passport or driver license and a certified copy of a birth certificate. You will be fingerprinted.
The fee is $85 for a five-year enrollment. Credit cards, money orders, company checks, and certified/cashier’s checks are accepted.
Walk-ins are accepted, but you’re encouraged to make an appointment. To do so, visit www.tsa.gov/precheck and select “Apply Now.” Follow the online prompts and select “San Luis Obispo, CA” as the enrollment location.
