One arrest was made during a DUI and driver license checkpoint in Santa Maria Friday night.
Officers conducted the checkpoint along the 1900 block of S. Broadway between 6 p.m. and 3 a.m.
While no arrests were made for drugs or alcohol, police say one person was arrested for driving without a license or with a suspended or revoked license.
Two citations were also issued.
Santa Maria police say checkpoint locations are chosen based off of crash statistics and DUI arrests.
There were 191 DUI crashes that killed four people and injured 32 others in Santa Maria last year, according to police.
