A judge Monday reduced bail from $1 million to $275,000 for a Buellton man charged with sex crimes against minors.

Gregory Scott Ray, 52, was arrested April 9 on suspicion of sex crimes committed against three juvenile males in the Santa Ynez Valley. He has pleaded not guilty to the 13 counts against him.

Ray was initially being held on $1.2 million bail before it was reduced last week to $1 million.

The Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office says the judge considered a variety of reasons when choosing to reduce Ray’s bail again Monday “without prejudice” to $275,000.

Deputies say additional victims have since been identified, including some who live locally, as well as others who live out of the area.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office says there could still be more victims outside of the Santa Barbara County area.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Criminal Investigation’s Division of the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office at 805-681-4150. To leave an anonymous tip, call 805-681-4171 or click here.

Ray is due back in court for a preliminary hearing setting May 23.
