Santa Maria police investigating reported kidnapping, robbery

The Santa Maria Police Department is investigating a kidnapping and robbery that reportedly occurred on Thursday, April 18.

Police say the victim was kidnapped and robbed by a man and a woman. The man was described as Hispanic, approximately 35-years-old and 5’6″ tall, with a medium build and dark hair. The woman was described as white, approximately 45-years-old and 5’8″ tall, with a medium build, short blonde hair, and green eyes. Police say she may have been wearing yoga-style pants with a floral print and a white sweater.

Police are also seeking to identify the driver of a white sedan that may have picked up a woman somewhere in the area of Black Rd. and Stowell Rd. on the evening of the kidnapping.

Police say due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, no additional details are being released at this time.
