Drivers who take Highway 246 between Lompoc and Buellton can expect some delays starting this week.

Road construction crews will be resurfacing the highway from the Santa Rosa Creek Bridge to Hapgood Road East. Work began on Monday, April 22.

Caltrans says drivers will encounter lane closures and one-way reversing traffic control through 4 p.m. on Monday.

Then, starting Monday, April 29 through Friday, June 14, work will take place overnight starting at 8 p.m. and ending at 6 a.m. Caltrans says delays should not exceed 10 minutes.
