Part of a Grover Beach street was shut down Monday afternoon after a semi truck snagged power lines in the area.
It happened shortly after 2 p.m. near 13th Street and Mentone Avenue.
The 1300 block of Mentone Avenue was taped off between 13th and 14th Street until repairs could be made.
People are asked to avoid the area.
