Central Coast native Jordan Hasay came in third at this year’s Boston Marathon.
Hassay finished with a time of 2:25:20, less than two minutes behind first place winner Worknesh Degefa of Ethiopia.
A pre-stress fracture prevented her from running the marathon last year.
Hasay has said she also plans to try out for the 2020 Olympics.
More than 30,000 runners took part in Monday’s race.
Kenya’s Lawrence Cherono won the men’s race.
