Caltrans will be doing several projects on Highway 101 this week.
A project to seal the bridge deck and maintain joint seals on Highway 101 north of the Avila Rd. overcrossing starts on Monday.
The number one left lane in both directions of Highway 101 will be closed overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Caltrans says traffic delays will be minimal.
Caltrans is also working on improving six miles of Highway 101 from San Miguel to Camp Roberts.
The number one left lane on Highway 101 southbound at the San Marcos Rd. intersection will be closed starting Monday. The northbound Highway 101 left turn pocket at San Marcos Rd. will also be closed starting Monday.
Drivers can expect alternating traffic and some detours until Tuesday, April 23.
Other road closures on Highway 101 include:
· Northbound Highway 101 off-ramp at South Mission St. will be closed from April 23 until the early summer
· Southbound Highway 101 on-ramp at South Mission St. will remain closed.
