A short pursuit southbound on Highway 101 ended with one arrest Thursday morning.
The pursuit began just north of Marsh St. in San Luis Obispo and ended at the Shell gas station at the corner of Spyglass Dr. and Shell Beach Rd. in Shell Beach.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an officer originally attempted to stop the male driver for speeding. He was going 86 mph.
The pursuit lasted only about ten minutes before the driver pulled into the gas station and was taken into custody.
