Students in the Santa Maria-Bonita School District are putting their knowledge to the test this week.
Approximately 75 students from the district’s four junior high schools are taking part in the Harry Potter-themed Junior High Battle of the Books on Monday. Some students from St. Louis de Montfort School are also involved.
The 7th and 8th graders are working in teams to answer questions related to about 30 books they have read over the past few months.
The grand finale got underway shortly after noon.
A Junior High Math Super Bowl is taking place on Tuesday and the Elementary Math Super Bowl on Wednesday.
