Drivers may experience delays on Highway 41 as Caltrans starts their two-week maintenance project near the Cholame ‘Y’ intersection Tuesday.
The project will grind and pave six miles along Highway 41 from north of the Cholame ‘Y’ intersection in northeast San Luis Obispo County to just south of the San Luis Obispo/Kern County line.
Caltrans says there will be one-way reversing traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and drivers can expect about a 30-minute delay. They encourage motorists to use Highway 46 or Highway 33.
Caltrans will be working on the road:
- Tuesday, April 2 through Thursday, April 4
- Monday, April 8 through Thursday, April 11
- Monday, April 15 and Tuesday, April 16
