After 15 years in business, Phantom Rivers Wine in Arroyo Grande is closing its doors.

Three couples decided to partner together back in 2004 to start their own winery and moved to their current location in the Village five years later.

They’ve decided to take a step back from the business world by closing down to focus on other aspects of their lives and go on adventures outside of the Central Coast.

They also think it’s the perfect time to go out while they’re still on top.

“We just wanna have a clean cut. Go out with a big bang, I guess, and a good reputation,” said Diana Smith.

Smith says all Phantom Rivers wines are on sale with discounts running anywhere from 45 to 60 percent off bottles.

They’re also offering mixed cases and a 10 percent discount to your total if you plan to purchase a case.

Phantom Rivers Wine is planning to officially close its doors on May 31 or when they run out of wine.
