Congressman Salud Carbajal teams up with the IRS to host a tax season informational workshop.
Rep. Carbajal, IRS representatives, and Volunteer Income Tax Assistants discussed the 2019 tax season laws at the Nipomo library Wednesday night.
Community members asked questions about tax law changes, refunds and what to do if you owe.
Rep. Carbajal says, “It’s really important for people to have their questions answered and to file their taxes on time. If they don’t file their taxes on time there are penalties that sometimes they don’t realize.”
