San Luis Obispo Film Festival celebrating 25 years, kicks off next week

The San Luis Obispo International Film Festival will celebrate its 25th year next week.

The festival will play host to more than 70 films this year, starting on Tuesday, March 12, with opening night.

Opening night will be an evening with Katharine Ross and a showing of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Wednesday will be the start of highlighting Central Coast films.

Everything from narrative, short, and documentary films will be shown during the six-day festival and will have something for everyone’s taste in cinema.

This year’s career achievement award will be given to actor Alfred Molina. He will be honored Saturday, March 16.
