The Field of Light at Sensorio in Paso Robles is opening up in May.
The development, an outdoor garden attraction, is located across from Hunter Ranch Golf Course on Highway 46 East. It’s been in the works since 2002.
The outdoor landscape is intended to be a visual treat for tourists.
The Sensorio website describes the Field of Light as “an array of over 58,800 stemmed spheres lit by fiber-optics, gently illuminating the landscape in subtle blooms of morphing color that describe the undulating landscape.”
The display will be solar-powered. It’s scheduled to open on May 19, 2019.
Tickets range in price from $27 to $30 for adults and $9 to $19 for children.
This is just the first phase of the Sensorio project. The second phase will include a conference center and a resort.
The entire project is set to be completed in the next five to ten years.
