Ike’s Love & Sandwiches will open its first area location on Friday.

The cult-favorite sandwich shop has stores across the state and features a variety of hoagies on its menu. Choices include the new “Thank You For Not Smoking” vegetarian sandwich with vegan chicken, Asian zest sauce, and pepper jack. There is also a locally-inspired sandwich called the “Bubblegum Alley.” It has fried chicken, Asian zest sauce, and pepper jack as well.

The new shop will be located at 1028 Chorro Street in downtown San Luis Obispo. The first 50 people to arrive at the shop on Friday between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. will get a free sandwich.
