Police seek to identify person of interest in Grover Beach destructive device case

Grover Beach police are asking for help identifying a man they say is a person of interest in a case involving destructive devices being set off in the city earlier this month.

Police say the devices were set off Feb. 1 at around 5:22 p.m. along the 900 block of Ramona Avenue and the 100 block of S. 9th Street. No property was damaged and no one was injured.

The Five Cities Fire Authority, San Luis Obispo County HAZMAT Team and the FBI are all assisting Grover Beach police with the investigation.

Police Tuesday released a picture of a man they say is a person of interest in the case.
