Netflix has released a new movie that was filmed in Lompoc and the Santa Ynez Valley.
“Paddleton” stars Ray Romano and Mark Duplass. As Netflix describes it, “After he’s diagnosed with terminal cancer, middle-aged Michael asks his neighbor friend Andy to help him end his life before the disease does.”
Locals will recognize the locations in several of the scenes, including the old Valley Drive-In in Lompoc and Ostrich Land near Buellton.
“Paddleton,” directed by Alex Lehmann, debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in early February. It is available now on Netflix.
