Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s officials say a traffic stop Sunday in Santa Maria resulted in two arrests and the discovery of drugs and a loaded pistol.

A deputy reportedly tried to stop the vehicle in the area of S. Bradley Rd. and Larch Ave. but the driver did not yield until reaching Shady Glen Dr.

Sheriff’s officials say deputies searched the vehicle and found a loaded pistol with its serial number removed, approximately 1/2 an ounce of methamphetamine, and other drug and drug sales paraphernalia.
