The Pledge of Allegiance will be the topic of discussion once again at the next Santa Barbara City College Board of Trustees meeting.
The board will be considering a resolution to include voluntary recitation of the pledge at future meetings.
The pledge was originally removed from the meetings because the board’s president said it has ties to anti-immigrant roots.
It was re-instated last month but not everyone was happy.
The board will consider the resolution Thursday at 4 p.m. at Thornton Auditorium on Wake Campus, 300 N. Turnpike Road, a change of venue from regular meetings.
