Travelers can enroll in the TSA PreCheck program at the San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport this month.
PreCheck is an expedited security screening program that allows travelers to keep on light jackets, shoes, and belts during the airport security process, as well as keeping laptops and compliant liquids in their bag.
IdentoGO, an official partner of the Transporation Security Administration, will have its mobile enrollment RV in front of the old airport terminal from February 19 through March 1.
Appointments will be available at the following times:
- Feb. 19-28, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (closed Saturday and Sunday)
- March 1, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
To book an appointment, visit universalenroll.dhs.gov and select San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport as your location. You must bring a government-issued photo ID with proof of U.S. citizenship and complete a 10-minute fingerprinting process.
TSA PreCheck memberships are valid at airports across the country.
