One little boy’s dream is coming true all thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Seven-year-old Bryson Thompson of San Luis Obispo suffers from epilepsy and gives back to the community through his Helmets4Helmets campaign he started with his brother. The organization donates protective helmets to kids who struggle with severe medical conditions.

Thompson found out Friday that he and his family will be going to Hawaii to live out his dream of swimming with dolphins. Dozens of people were there to surprise him.

“My mom said she was planning a one-year-old birthday party, and she tricked me. Everybody was right in front of the door, and they surprised me. The best part of my day was being surprised when everybody was here,” said Bryson.

He and his family are going to Aulani Resort to ride on dolphins. They’re also looking forward to dancing with hula dancers on their vacation.
